Editorial Policy
Updated
The Diabetes Vibe publishes educational and lifestyle content about diabetes. Because diabetes is a health topic, we hold our content to a high standard of accuracy, clarity and transparency.
Our goals
- Be useful: every article should help a reader do, understand or decide something.
- Be accurate: health information is based on reputable, current sources.
- Be clear: we write in plain language and explain technical terms.
- Be honest: we distinguish evidence from opinion and personal experience.
Who creates our content
Every article names its author. Author profiles describe each person's background and any professional qualifications. We never list credentials a contributor does not hold.
Sources
Health claims are supported by reputable sources such as peer-reviewed research, professional bodies and public-health agencies. Sources are listed at the end of each article. See Sources & Research Standards.
Review and updates
Each article shows its publication date and, where applicable, the date it was last reviewed. Articles that discuss medications, insulin, glucose targets, hypoglycemia, exercise safety, pregnancy, or diabetes complications receive heightened editorial care. When an article has been reviewed by a qualified professional, the reviewer's name and credentials are shown at the top. Our Medical Review Policy explains this process.
What we won't do
- Claim that any food, product or routine cures or reverses diabetes.
- Encourage anyone to stop or change medication without their healthcare team.
- Publish fabricated testimonials, reviews or expert endorsements.
- Let commercial relationships determine our editorial conclusions.
Commercial content
We sell our own digital tools and may earn commissions from some links. Commercial relationships are always disclosed. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. See our Corrections Policy.
